Sava,the artisian

In the years of 1989 and 1990, the father and the son gilded the other seventeen crosses of the Temple of St Sava, which were of different dimensions (1-5 metres), using pure gold. The crosses were made of the same material like the central cross. Therefore, the same gilding technique and material were applied. 300 000 gold leaves were used for these 18 crosses of the Temple of St Sava. In other words, around 150 square metres were covered with gold. Only in Belgrade, they gilded over 50 crosses.
